Blastey Protection Guarantee

What is covered

• Verified loss of a bag that was checked in at a Blastey location
• Theft from a Blastey storage location during the booking period
• Documented physical damage that occurred while the bag was in storage
• Damage to the bag itself, such as a broken wheel, handle, or zip

What is not covered

For everyone's safety, these items must not be stored with Blastey and are never covered:

• Cash and currency
• Jewelry, gold, and watches
• Phones, laptops, tablets, cameras, and other electronics or gadgets
• Passports and identity documents
• Bank cards
• Keys
• Medicines
• Fragile or high-value items
• Illegal, perishable, or dangerous items

Photo proof is required

Your bag is photographed by the partner at drop-off and again at pickup. These two photos are the evidence a claim is assessed against. If no drop-off photo exists for your booking, the Protection Guarantee cannot be applied — so please check the photo was taken before you leave.

How to file a claim

1. 1Report the problem at the storage location before you leave, and ask the partner to note it.
2. 2Email support@blastey.com within 48 hours of pickup with your booking reference.
3. 3Attach photos of the damage or, for a loss, a description of the bag and its contents.
4. 4We compare your report against the drop-off and pickup photos on file.
5. 5If the claim is approved, compensation is paid to your original payment method.

How quickly we respond

We acknowledge every claim within 2 business days and aim to reach a decision within 10 business days of receiving the complete file. If we need more information, the clock pauses until you reply.

Eligibility

A booking is eligible for the Protection Guarantee when all of the following are true:

• The booking was made and paid through Blastey.
• The bag was checked in at the booked location, with a drop-off photo on file.
• The bag was collected within the booked period, or an extension was agreed.
• The claim is reported within 48 hours of pickup.
• The contents comply with the excluded-items list above.

Limits

The Protection Guarantee is capped at 3,000 MAD per eligible booking, regardless of the number of bags in that booking. It is a goodwill guarantee provided by Blastey, not an insurance contract, and it does not replace your own travel insurance.
